For the health department

This department is responsible for monitoring the markets and ensuring the suitability of the materials displayed therein, through field trips in cooperation with the Balqa Governorate Health Directorate and working to spread the health and environmental culture.

Slaughterhouse Department

This department is responsible for monitoring and inspecting the carcasses, veterinary examining them before slaughtering them, ensuring that health conditions are met, providing delivery service to butcheries through a refrigerated meat car within the municipal borders, and maintaining its cleanliness.

Markets Department

 This section prohibits the use of streets and sidewalks for the purposes of displaying or trading in goods. It also prevents the throwing of waste and rubbish in places other than those designated for them, as well as ensuring that commercial shops are licensed.

Hygiene department
 This department is responsible for collecting and transporting waste and following it up accurately and in detail through inspection tours and inspection visits, in addition to following up and receiving citizens’ comments and complaints in this regard. 

Directorate work

Providing containers to collect waste in the areas and transporting it to the landfill

Sweeping streets, public squares and alleys

 Filling swamps in open and public places and monitoring neglected animals in public places

Controlling health violations

Taking into account the general safety conditions followed by the municipality by ensuring that the cleaning department workers are in uniform (overalls, paws, suitable shoes or safety, brooms, carts and tools) to collect waste according to the rules.
