His Majesty added that everyone knows the history of Balqa and the role of its people in building Jordan, during his meeting, on Tuesday, with notables and representatives of the people of Balqa Governorate in the building of the Military Retirees Club, in the presence of His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.

His Majesty the King referred to Al-Salt Secondary School for Boys as a beacon of knowledge since the beginning of the founding of the state, and its graduation of groups of countrymen and statesmen who served Jordan wholeheartedly.

His Majesty stated that the streets of Old Salt bear witness to the history and civilization of the city, which has been included on the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

His Majesty the King concluded his speech by emphasizing that Jordan is always strong with the determination of Jordanian men and women.
